Coinhako Verification is one of the tools that we make available to help you protect against scams or phishing attacks. Coinhako Verification allows you to check whether a channel is currently used as an official Coinhako channel. You should exercise caution if you are communicating with a person other than through an official Coinhako channel or if you intend to rely on any information that did not originate from an official Coinhako channel.

However, even if you have verified that a channel is an official Coinhako channel, you must review the circumstances holistically before relying on any information that appears to have originated from the official Coinhako channel. This is because there are still risks that the information was not authorized by us. Some of the key risks (non-exhaustive) are outlined below:

Risk of Spoofing Attacks. There is a risk that a malicious actor may disguise their communications with you as appearing to originate from an official Coinhako channel, even if the communication did not originate from an official Coinhako channel.
Risk of Unauthorized Access. There is a risk of unauthorized access to official Coinhako channels. Even if a communication appears to originate from an official Coinhako channel, you should consider if the circumstances may suggest that it was not authorized by us. For example, this may include unusual requests from an official Coinhako channel such as a request for your password or 2FA code, or a request for you to transfer your assets to another person.
Risk of Interceptions. Communications are also at risk of being intercepted and modified by a malicious actor, such that the communications that you receive were not the same as the communications that were transmitted by us.

While Coinhako Verification is one of the tools that may help you to identify official Coinhako channels, it is not a guarantee of the security, integrity, or authenticity of any communication that appears to have originated from any official Coinhako channel. It remains your responsibility to verify the contents of any communication that is purported to have originated from Coinhako, and you fully assume the risks of any reliance you place on such communications.

By using Coinhako Verification, you hereby acknowledge and agree that it is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis and you have not relied upon any information or output of the Coinhako Verification. We expressly disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express, statutory, or implied, in relation to the Coinhako Verification feature. Without limiting the foregoing, we do not represent or warrant that Coinhako Verification is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. Coinhako Verification has been established as a helpful tool to supplement existing Coinhako security measures and guides, which may be found here, and to further protect our users. We shall not be liable to you or any other person for any damages arising in connection with the use of or reliance on Coinhako Verification. Users are reminded to remain vigilant against scams and phishing attacks. When in doubt, verify any communication through our official Help Desk.
